What is VOICES doing?
- VOICES documents infant mortality, low weight births, child health index, and births to unmarried teens for children in each of Alabama counties in our annual Alabama Kids Count Data Book.
- VOICES led efforts for initial funding of AllKids, the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.
- VOICES tracks federal legislation that provides funding for All Kids/SCHIP.
- VOICES supports legislative policies which promote good mental, physical and emotional health for children.
