Alabama Poverty Project – a coalition to promote state policies to improve the lives of low income people.
Office of School Readiness Advisory Board – the Office of School Readiness, this board promotes the expansion of state supported pre-k in Alabama.
Alabama Child Care Alliance - a coalition of non-profits, child care providers, parents and community members dedicated to addressing the issues facing Alabama's child care system, and providing early learning opportunities for all children.
Alabama Commission to Reduce Poverty - created by the Alabama Legislature in 2009, the commission is directed to study and evaluate current policies and services and proposed legislation that serve or affect low-wealth individuals and families.
